Apple has begun selling the refurbished iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, previously used by other users. Smartphones are only available in the US, writes MacRumors.
The refurbished iPhone 7 is available with 32, 128, and 256 gigabyte drives for $ 500, 590, and 680 dollars, respectively. Savings in this case range from 50 to 70 dollars. Smartphones in matt black, gloss black, silver, pink and gold are on sale.
iPhone 7 Plus is sold only in versions of 32 and 128 gigabytes for $ 600 and $ 690 respectively – the restored device is cheaper than the new by $ 70-80, depending on the modification. The 256 gigabyte version is not available, as well as smartphones in glossy black and silver cases.
Apple began selling recovered iPhones in 2016 a few months after the release of the iPhone 7. The company claims that they are conducting a full diagnosis of devices, changing the case, battery and other components. They are packed in a regular white box and come with new accessories. The restored iPhone is covered by the same warranty as the new device.
