The appearance of the export version of the Russian fifth-generation fighter Su-57 will destroy the monopoly of the American F-35 Lightning II, writes Sohu.
“Many countries that are at war with the United States will be able to purchase fifth-generation aircraft, and the Americans will have to think carefully before sending their troops there,” the Chinese portal said.
The publication notes that the likely buyers of the Su-57 may be India, Indonesia, Algeria, Vietnam and Venezuela, who will have to "be patient", waiting for the completion of the tests of the fighter.
In July, Indian Air Force Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa said his country was ready to consider the option of acquiring a Su-57 fighter after it was put into service with the Russian Armed Forces.
