The US company SpaceX in 2018 earned about two billion dollars on launches of its own Falcon 9 heavy missiles, which is higher than that of its competitors from the United States and other countries, reports CNBC with reference to materials from the investment bank Jefferies Group.
SpaceX is also followed by two US companies: ULA (United Launch Alliance) c of approximately 1.75 billion dollars and Northrop Grumman c of 1.2 billion.
It is noted that the cost of launching payloads of heavy rockets on the world market in 2018 ranged from 62 to 350 million dollars, and the total revenue of the eight leading companies providing launch services (excluding Chinese) was eight billion dollars.
Currently, SpaceX has heavy (Falcon 9) and super-heavy (Falcon Heavy) rockets, as well as Dragon cargo ship. In addition, the company is working on the Crew Dragon manned spacecraft, whose first (unmanned) flight to the International Space Station (ISS) took place in March.
